Being the church...
Spring 2021... Pastor Daniel received a vision from the Lord. What would it look like if the church was to quit just talking about it and actually started walking-out "being the church?" What if we realized that there is more to ministry than just what is within the 4 walls of the building? What if we could make a tangible impact in our community to change lives, impact families, and see generations come to the saving power of Jesus! What if we did life with Jesus AND ONE ANOTHER?
Expanding the vision...
God was simultaneously working in the hearts of Pastor TC Moore and Pastor Shajuanna Ditto. In fact, the trio knew that God had something more planned for Campbellsville and the surrounding area. They stepped out in obedience and launched a Sunday night ministry during the fall of 2021, where people from all backgrounds and churches came to worship, pray, and receive encouragement.
Originally meeting above Harden Coffee, the Upper Room ministry kept thriving and growing. Sometimes people would come in to receive a word, to rest in the presence of the Lord, or to be healed! Other times, the Holy Spirit dropped a word through a stranger and the presence of God fell thick in that little bitty room.

What became and where we are headed...
A "new wine" was poured out upon the Upper Room ministry in July of 2022 and the Holy Spirit began moving in mighty ways. Pastors TC and Daniel began to pray and fast to seek out the plan of the Lord. Following a downtown tent revival hosted by UR, Pastor Roger Scott spoke over the ministry that "UR needs to expand its reach and be obedient in the call of the Lord!" knowing nothing of the prayers of confirmation both pastors were seeking.
Both pastors listened and in the fall of 2022, Upper Room expanding by officially launching as a church plant. Just one year after beginning with 35 people gathered, we were running out of room and moved to our current downtown location in May of 2023.
God has blessed this ministry financially, spiritually, and physically in ways only few can grasp! The Goodness of the Lord rests upon this place and He remains faithful each day! Miracle after miracle, prayer after prayer; God remains GOOD! We are truly blessed beyond measure and can't wait to see what the future holds for Upper Room! May we always remain HUNGRY & HUMBLE!
